Castello Coin, a Crypto project revolutionizing the Crypto world with its fusion of Blockchain and Art, has unveiled its brand ambassador, a world-class artwork, the Castello Cube.
To accomplish its objective of global recognition, the Castello Coin team not only cooperated with the crypto world, but also decided to promote the project via traditional art ways by liaising with international contemporary artist Niclas Castello who created a knee-high cube sculpture made of 24-karat gold, weighing 186 kilos and worth €10m. This has placed Castello Coin in the history books as the first Crypto project to have a premium, superlative artwork as its brand ambassador.
According to a spokesperson of Castello Coin, “The Castello Cube is a conceptual work that seems to have arrived from another world and will now stand on the cobbles of Venice, without a pedestal”.
Indeed, the Castello Cube artwork made a single day appearance in New York and Venice. Previously, it was also exhibited at the Venice Biennale where visitors admired it for a few hours on 21 April 2022. The Castello Cube was shown in New York earlier this year in Central Park. Time Out Media group was present, aptly describing the event as it unfolded. ”This plot is Castello’s own way of promoting the launch of his upcoming non-fungible token (whatever that means) but New Yorkers took the chance to turn the odd installation into a hilarious topic of conversation on social media”, said the media house.
The sculpture was on show until 8pm that day and members of the public also had a feel of it. Art historian Dieter Buchhart was present at the event and described the Castello Cube as being incredibly soft. “You literally imprint the gold if you touch it; it gets a piece of you in it. It connects us all”, he remarked. The piece is set to travel further to yet undisclosed locations.
The initiator of the project, Sven Wenzel and his team of extremely gifted specialists share love for art, tech, music and the digital world. Their different nationalities and backgrounds are united by their common interest and ambitions—sharing a unique set of skills, connections, and joining forces to create the Castello Coin, which they are set to turn into a long lasting brand.
