The sixth annual World Web3 Summit and LeToken Global Launch Conference were successfully held on the 29th of May, 2023, in Hong Kong. The summit congregated dignitaries, scholars, and industry leaders from around the world, with the aim of exploring and propelling the development of Web3 technology, as well as announcing the official global launch of LeToken.
At 15:00, the conference commenced amidst a fervent atmosphere. The Master of Ceremonies introduced the heads of state and esteemed guests, following which an opening ceremony ensued. During the tribute segment, Mr. Wang Jiancheng, acting as an award recipient, presented tokens of appreciation to Tan Yaozong, Lu Wenduan, and other eminent figures. Thereafter, H.E. Petar Stoyanov, the former President of Bulgaria, H.E. Boris Tadic, the former President of Serbia, and Dumitru Braghis, the former Prime Minister and current ambassador of Moldova to China, each delivered eloquent speeches. They expressed the pivotal role of Web3 technology for the advancement and innovation of the global digital economy, applauding the successful global launch of LeToken for its remarkable contribution towards the realization of universal QR code payment.
At 15:40, the summit transitioned to the policy proclamation segment. Ambassadors to China from Malta, Thailand, Ecuador, the Bahamas, and El Salvador respectively delineated their nation’s Web3 industry policies. These introductions furnished the attendees with a thorough understanding of global Web3 industry development opportunities and laid a foundation for future collaboration and innovation.
At 16:10, the anticipated roundtable discussion began. For half an hour, we were privileged to witness an enlightening conversation between presidents. The participation of heads of state and ambassadors, including H.E. Mr. John Busuttil, Ambassador of Malta to China, Dr. Cai Zhichuan, President of the Asia Blockchain Association, Dr. Xu Jingang, a metaverse investment expert, Dempsey, head of SBE Group Asia Pacific Investment, and Reginald, COO of the White Swan Foundation LeToken, fostered collective deliberation on the prospects and potential of Web3 technology.
During the forum, they engaged in profound dialogues, sharing their understanding and expectations of Web3, providing invaluable insights and directions for propelling the development of the global digital economy. They explored the construction of a more open, transparent, and secure digital economy ecosystem utilizing Web3 technology.
This roundtable discussion afforded the attendees a platform for dialogue and reflection, sparking deeper insights into and innovative ideas regarding Web3 technology, and encouraging international cooperation and knowledge sharing. Through these discussions, our conviction in the significance and potential of Web3 technology was further solidified, with the belief that it will herald a new era of the global digital economy.
At 16:40, following evaluations by a committee from over a thousand global Web3 innovative enterprises, LeToken was awarded the Web3.0 Global Economy Innovation Award at this global Web3 summit. Dumitru Braghis, the former Prime Minister of Moldova, presented LeToken with the Web3.0 Global Economy Innovation Award, the LeToken Global Partner Award, and the LeToken Global Ambassador Award, recognizing individuals and teams that have made outstanding contributions in advancing Web3 technology development and LeToken promotion.
At 17:10, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of El Salvador to China, the COO of LeToken, and other relevant partners jointly announced the official launch of LeToken. Following this, engaging speeches were delivered by LeToken representatives and business delegates, showcasing LeToken’s vision of implementing QR code payments globally and its future development plans. This further demonstrated LeToken’s strength and prospects as a leading brand for global QR code payments.
The presidential welcome dinner at 18:00, coupled with the presidential photo session, provided a warm and memorable conclusion to the event, demonstrating respect and gratitude to the attendees, and establishing an important platform for promoting international exchanges and cooperation.
